Within and End of Semester
Appropriate Course embedded Classroom Assessment Techniques (CATs) All students enrolled in classes Maintained within the department Determine student learning while in course, make adjustments / corrections as necessary to improve the learning process Department Chairs Assessed during the semester
Pre-course, post-course test All students enrolled in classes Maintained by Department Used to assess program effectiveness, make course adjustments Department Chairs Given at the beginning and end of each semester.
Faculty Evaluation All teaching faculty (taken by students) Maintained by Division Chairs Used to assess faculty effectiveness from the students’ perspective and to advise faculty.
