About

Jeanette Regier is returning for her twelfth season at the helm of the Calvary Bible College Lady Warriors. She has most of her players returning from the 2007 season that saw the Warriors finish in 3rd place in the Midwest Christian College Conference.

Regier is coaching in her sixteenth season. Prior to working at Calvary she was on the coaching staff at Berean Academy in Newton, Kansas. During her four years at Berean she served as head women's volleyball coach, assistant basketball coach, and assistant track coach.

The Newton Kansas native graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Emporia State University in 1991. Regier relocated to Belton in 1996 and finished her Master's Degree in Physical Education in May of 2002.

Regier hopes to instill enthusiasm into her program. Her goal for the season is to develop mentally tenacious players and teach them to play aggressively. She has a strong desire to see her players demonstrate consistent Christian character both on and off the court, realizing that what they become after volleyball is more important than what they become during volleyball.

About

John Krchmar is beginning his first season as the head coach for the Warriors. He spent the last three years at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College as the assistant men's basketball coach for a program that has been to the NCCAA National Tournament in two out of the past six years. He also served as an assistant coach for the women's team at Pillsbury.

Coach Krchmar graduated with a BS in Bible and Physical Education in 2001 from Pillsbury. While at Pillsbury, he played four years of soccer and one year of basketball. Krchmar is excited to bring an up-tempo game to Calvary and hopes to add even more traditions to a program rich in tradition.

Daniel Nichols is returning for his sixth season at the helm for the Warriors.He is looking forward to the 2008 season following a very successful one this year, in which the team finished with a 16-5 record. The Warriors finished a strong second in both the Midwest Christian College Conference and Central Region regular seasons as well as second in the Central Regional tournament.

Born and raised in Northeast Brazil, soccer was a part of daily life for Nichols - watching, playing, and officiating. He played soccer in church, city, and school leagues.

Coming to the states in 1999 to continue his education, Daniel attended Calvary Bible College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministry/Business Administration. He married his wife, Paula, in July 2003, and they currently reside in Grandview, Missouri.

Coach Nichols enjoys challenging his team to play to their full potential and developing the soccer program that it may exemplify Christ like excellence! Daniel is committed to the long term success of the soccer program and its players, both as a team and as individuals. He has earned a National and Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, as well as a Professional Development Certificate from the NSCAA and a class E coaching license from the state of Missouri.

About

Tressa Shoemaker is beginning her first year at the helm of the Lady Warrior program. She has four returning starters from the 2006-2007 season who helped the Warriors finish in fourth place in the Midwest Christian College Conference.

The Tucson, Arizona native graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Counseling from Calvary Bible College in 2001. She stayed in Kansas City after finishing her degree and currently serves as an admissions counselor for the school. She worked as an assistant coach for the volleyball and the basketball programs from 2002-2007.

Shoemaker was a four year letter winner in high school basketball and volleyball at Push Ridge Christian Academy located in Tucson, Arizona. As a collegiate player at Calvary Bible College she received the offensive player of the year award as well as being named Second Team All Conference before a career ending knee injury.

Shoemaker feels that God has called her to Calvary so that she can use athletics as a way to encourage ladies to become godly women. It is for these reasons she considers it a privilege to coach at Calvary.
